I have made a reply on several discussions about the power of prayer and I think it is time to pray. I am asking you if you would like to join me in prayer all of us together at the same day and time to pray to God for his guidence and to pray for our country. I am sure God will hear our prayers and maybe we all can be guided to the right direction he wants us to go. I do believe in the power of prayer and at this point I feel that is all we have to go on now. I live in Ohio which is Eastern time, how about Feburary 12th at 10:00 p.m. lets pray together, are you in?

I was born into an America that valued God, but I was taught everyone had a right to worship as they wished. I was born into an America that valued family and friends, but I was taught to appreciate the sacrifices they made for me. I was born into an America that valued individual freedom, but I was taught freedom requires a responsibility to be honest, hardworking and helpful. I was born into an America that valued critical thinking and diverse thought, but I was taught all opinions should be respected. I was born into an America that valued free enterprise, but I was taught there would be risk in making my dreams reality. I was born into an America that valued equal justice, but I was taught there were consequences for my actions. I was born into an America that valued people, but I was taught it was my obligation to ease the burdens of those in need. I was born into an America that valued our Founding Fathers and our founding documents, but I was taught freedom is fragile and can only survive if people are educated and involved.
I fear my America has been dying a slow death during my entire lifetime, but because I was working, raising my family and trying to make ends meet, I paid little attention to the changes taking place. Of course, I grumbled and moaned when Congress or the courts made irrational decisions, but I did not leave my comfort zone to make my voice heard. Because of my lack of involvement, my children do not know what they are losing. They believe life in America will always be free and they can pursue their dreams unimpeded. They do not know history; they do not know the miracle our Founders created; they do not understand that freedom can be suffocated in a heartbeat. My generation, children of the Greatest Generation, have failed in our mission to keep the torch of freedom burning. This was not done through malice, but rather through ignorance. We, too, believed freedom was free and forgot the duty mandated by our Founders to be actively engaged in our political system. Through our negligence, we now have a corrupt, bloated government adding links to the chains of bondage and a media preferring to herd sheep rather than report facts.
We, as Americans, have been blessed and have had our needs met ten-fold; however, we continue to confuse need with want. Of course, everyone goes through difficult times and on occasion may require help to meet their basic needs. But we, for the most part, have been willing to sacrifice family time and our children’s future for the bigger house, designer clothes, expensive cars and the latest gadgets. We have forgotten that pursuing our passion will automatically create material gain and instead have made material gain our passion. We have spent ourselves to the brink of disaster and are looking for a quick-fix answer to our problems. We must accept responsibility for our choices. WE elected the politicians running this country; WE did not pay attention to what was going on in Washington and our state capitols; WE allowed government to intrude into our lives; WE bought houses we couldn’t afford; WE went into debt to give our children everything we thought they needed; WE encouraged our children to go to schools we could not afford; WE raised our children to believe they could have everything they wanted without any effort on their part. Until we return to the core values which set America apart, we are walking a path to destruction.
We must also understand that while we slept, we allowed evil to take root in our society and as America declines, we are witnessing its exponential growth. Many of us won’t even acknowledge evil exists let alone speak against it. This mentality allowed Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, et al, to achieve power and led to the slaughter of millions of innocent people merely because of who they were, what they believed or what they thought. Unless we realize we are vulnerable, we will ignore the warning signs until it is too late.
As dire as our situation is, we cannot become disheartened or disillusioned because America, right now, is still a land of opportunity and freedom. In order for it to remain so, we must rekindle the flame of liberty. We must remember who we are and what we stand for. We can no longer trust the media or politicians to be honest so we must seek the truth. We must remain vigilant and speak out when we witness injustice, lies and evil. We must teach our children and grandchildren the history of our country and the importance of the precious gift of freedom. We must know our neighbors and be willing to help them through difficult times. We must get our priorities in order and live our lives based on principle. We must, again, be independent, self-reliant and willing to sacrifice so our children will live in freedom. I believe our enemies, both foreign and domestic, have underestimated the American people; they have forgotten that freedom is in our DNA; they have forgotten that Americans rise to any challenge, take any risk and bear any burden to insure liberty and justice for all.
I, for one, will not stand by and allow the last hope of freedom for the world to succumb to darkness. I will educate myself in American history, world history, economics, politics and philosophy. I will speak the truth, no matter the cost to me personally. I will stand by those who are oppressed and be a shield for those who cannot defend themselves. I will light the world with love because evil cannot survive in the light. I understand that although one person cannot, and should not, change another person, one person can change the world. My goal is to make the speck of Earth I inhabit a better place because I lived. Please join me.

Sgt. William Stacey joined the Marines in January 2007, completing a total of five deployments. He was scheduled to return home from his final deployment in Afghanistan this spring.

But Stacey was tragically killed Jan. 31. He was on foot patrol when an enemy explosive device went off and took the life of a soldier who was just months away from returning home.

“None of us who love him know how to measure the vastness of this pain,” his mother, Robin, said in an email to ABC News. “He is but one of a number of men and women who have risked and sometimes lost their lives in Afghanistan and Iraq, just as we are but one of thousands of families whose hearts are breaking today.”

Stacey’s family found a letter he had written in case he died serving his country, perhaps hoping to ease some of their pain.

The letter, which was published in the Seattle Times, shows a glimpse of the selflessness of the fallen hero.

“My death did not change the world; it may be tough for you to justify its meaning at all,” he wrote. “But there is greater meaning to it.”

He wrote of the children of the world who he hoped would one day know freedom.

“Perhaps I did not change the world. Perhaps there is still injustice in the world. But there will be a child who will live because men left the security they enjoyed in their home country to come to his. And this child will learn in the new schools that have been built. He will walk his streets not worried about whether or not his leader’s henchmen are going to come and kidnap him. He will grow into a fine man who will pursue every opportunity his heart could desire. He will have the gift of freedom, which I have enjoyed for so long. If my life buys the safety of a child who will one day change this world, then I know that it was all worth it.”

“We are very proud of him. He’d come to be quietly proud of himself, and he had every right to be,” Stacey’s father, Bob, told KOMO News. “We’re going to miss him. A lot of people are going to miss him.”

This law, signed by President Obama in January 2011, has been called " the most dangerous law in United States History "by Dr. Arthur Evangelista, former FDA investigator, as it puts restrictions on possession of seeds per citizens, and the cultivation and transportation of food grown domestically, ie, no more bush tomatoes, lemon or cilantro in our personal gardens.

The obvious winners are companies like Monsanto, which consolidated the centralization of its seeds and products, and instead, limit the ability of independent farmers to survive in a time when food trends of the public are increasingly looking for organic food and naturally grown in the famous "Farmer Markets" and "Amish Markets."

In a country with a tradition started by farmers who worked the land as a symbol of its sufficiency and self-determination (as yeoman farmers supported by Thomas Jefferson in his agrarian philosophy), the new Senate bill, if applied rigorously, can define those who cultivate, transport and trade their humble home cultures as "dealers" and criminalize the accumulation of seeds, making them a monopoly by companies like Monsanto. This should not surprise us to see "seeds" that these same companies have been planted in Washington in recent years .

What is not clear even after a year is whether the law covers the cultivation of roses and edible squash blossoms and cactus (holding water). Hope you clarify, as I have in my garden a beautiful cactus for 3 years which I affectionately call "George Orwell" and that I would not lose.

I'm sure the Amish understand me.

The Lord is in His Holy Temple;Let the whole world be silent before Him.

On this sunday in the year of our Lord,2012, I ask each of us to re-dedicate ourselves to the "Mission" our Creator has given us in The Holy Bible,and the Torah. Our mission should be to become His ambassadors to our fellow "Brothers & Sisters" and tell each of them about His word,and His love for them! We must express our personal love and devotion to Him by living our faith and belief every day in our lives.

The Holy scriptures teach us that as His ambassadors,we are to "sow His seeds" among ALL people in all the land we travel,and let Him do the farming of His crop! It is not our purpose to worry IF His seeds take root,only that we follow His commandments to plant them! Some will fall on rocky ground,never taking root,others will find fertile soil,take root,and bear rich fruit to re-produce again for His glory,just as He has planned.All these things are our duty,and indeed,our worldly purpose to be followed as we honor,and show our love to Him that has awarded us so much.Pray we do not fail. I can think of no gift we can give our fellow citizens more valueable that sharing our Lord and Masters love for them. As we give,we also recieve tenfold.
Let us pray.

Dear loving and merciful Lord,we ask you for Your forgiveness for our sins,and beg that You continueto bless,guide,and protect us as we do our best to follow Your Holy Commandments.Lord You created each of us in Your image,and You know our human weakness as we pray You will show us the wisdom to do You Will for a better world.
Dear Lord,Lord of lords,King of kings,we beg that You guide our elected leaders who were appointed by Your grace to serve You and Your children.Touch their hard hearts and teach them how to repent from their harsh and morally corrupt ways before they loose their souls to the forces of evil.All these prayers we ask in Jesus's Holy Name,Amen

May the God of Abraham,Isaac,and Jacob watch over you,bless and protect you and the ones you love forever.
