With your express consent, we may share some of your information with Members of Congress, the President of the United States, and the general public. For example, if you choose to sign an online petition or use an online tool to send your legislator a message, some of your information will be shared or made publicly available.

Petitions, Surveys and other Grassroots Activities
For petitions, surveys and other similar grassroots activities for which you provide your name, city, state and comments, we treat this information as public information. We will not make your street address publicly available, but we may transmit it to Members of Congress and to the President as part of a petition. Any comments you make, along with your name, city and state, may be made available to the public and to the press. Without your consent, we will not disclose your email address or phone number to Members of Congress, the President, the media or the general public.
Communications Sent Through This Website
We may enable you to send emails to elected and government officials, as well as to other selected individuals (for example, letters to the editor) through our website. Such emails are sent in your name, with your email address as the return address. Your full name and contact information will be provided as part of the transmission. You are solely responsible for the content of such emails, and emails sent under your name are sent only by you.
Phone, Email and Text Communications
We, along with our volunteers, affiliated organizations and vendors, may contact you by telephone, email and tests to alert you to important activities and items needing immediate action. If you wish to be removed from either or all of these methods of communication, please follow the instructions given to you when you provided your consent for receiving text messages. Please allow up to ten (10) days for removal from these lists.
