Everyone's Plan B

Ron Paul Libertarians: You Cannot Vote for Mitt Romney

November 2, 2012

Gary Anderson, Strategic Default Books

Voting for Mitt Romney could result in a massive military buildup. Mitt wants to increase spending on the military by an amazing 2.1 trillion in the next decade.
It is my opinion that Mitt Romney is firmly in the camp of the Neocons who will invite confrontation with Russia over the missile shield. The Neocons labor under the false delusion that the US is the only remaining superpower.
They conveniently forget that Russia could carpet the USA with nukes, and they are madmen for thinking that we could get away with anything that changes that equilibrium. It isn't going to happen. Putin has threatened to bomb the missile shield construction if not intimately included in the plan.
If Mitt Romney, and the mentally ill Neocons are placed into power, America is in grave danger. The Neocons are on a quest for destruction.

I have come to the conclusion, based on my views of the Bush administration, that the Republicans are totally unfit to rule the United States. As a party they are so reactionary and incapable of compromise that this mentality will filter into the foreign policy of the nation, and, unlike Khrushchev, I don't believe that that Putin will back down.
Unlike in the Cuban Missile Crisis, the shield is going to be placed in Russia's sphere of influence. Facing the Kremlin down and thinking Putin will back down could be a fatal error, for all of us.
The US is outspending the Russians massively on defense right now. Increasing this spending could also put Russia behind the 8 ball, and could make what is a very non belligerent nation, compared to the USA, into a very aggressive nation. What on earth would be the point of doing that?
As I say, the Neocons are haters, and are very wicked men who will do anything they can to bring the world to the brink.
Perhaps they need to think differently as we have seen the Russian submarine enter gulf of Mexico waters recently. We are entering new and uncharted waters. Pat Buchanan, a conservative, called the Neocons the War Party. Something to think about the next time you step into the voting booth.
Pat Buchanan has said the provocation of Russia in the Georgian incident was simply wrong. He has said that presidents up until George W Bush would not rile the Russian Bear. Yet it may now be Republican policy to do so.
So, libertarians are people who oppose war for anything besides self defense. I cannot understand why they would want Mitt Romney to be president. I cannot imagine Romney's position on our military buildup could trump any differences that these libertarians have with Obama on any other issue. It isn't logical. Nuclear War becomes the ultimate failure to the libertarians, the ultimate destruction of liberty.
While I have argued with libertarians that liberty does not mean deregulation of greedy men, liberty means also the freedom to live ones life without being blown off the map. That trumps a little regulation any day!
The libertarians could certainly agree with me on that.
So, libertarians need to think long and hard at their long term commitment to Republican Neocon madmen. If you add to all this that the Republicans may be guilty of false flag operations against United States citizens, you know that they are totally unfit for leadership and are corrupt beyond political redemption.
Libertarian leaning voters make up about 39 percent of Tea Party Republican voters. Only independent libertarians outnumber these Republicans. Therefore, these Republicans and independents who may vote for Romney must realize that war and military buildup in an aggressive way can defeat the libertarian cause.
As long as the Democrats are opposed to Neocon wars for plunder, as advocated by Niall Ferguson and others, then libertarians would be better off voting for the Democrats. If the Democrats then stop living according to principle, all that is left for many is antisocial behavior. I worry about that. America needs to start doing the right thing. We could be a powerful and peaceful nation at the same time. We have to be both for our survival!
What Niall Ferguson does not seem to understand is that the stakes are higher than when the British Empire was predominant. The stakes now include mutually assured destruction. No one talks about that now, and the Neocons are giddy with overconfidence.

Ron Paul is OUT. And the people that sit now in power, hate Israel. One 1 man left, Romney. At least he defends Israel. If you don't vote, your vote will be wasted. I for one, will not have my vote wasted.

Yes, Romney is utilizing the Bush foreign policy team. I can't say that Obama's administration was a military lull though. I suppose the drones give the appearance of good clean fun? They must, where did all those anti-war activists go?

Dottie is brain washed

Oh Dottie, you drank more than one glass of the kool-aid didn't you? None of anything that is going on is about Israel. They just say that so that you stay blood thirsty and lusty for war.

I think she is past the cool aide stage, and on to the more hardcore fool-aide

J R & Sue.....you guys DON'T know The Bible. And I see you both haven't studied what you need to.

Mitch, fine. Hope you feel better...at least for now.

Since we aren't a Theocracy, one doesn't need to study the Bible to be an educated voter. If Israel is such a hot button issue, why haven't the Jewish voters overwhelmingly migrated to Mittens?

Dottie
You do not know the Bible in the way Jesus knows the Bible, you know the Bible in the way Satan knows the Bible and used it try and tempt Jesus

1 year 11 months ago

And Dottie, you can read the Bible and you can have someone tell you all day long exactly what they think it means and that it means just like this and now, but the Truth is that no one knows God's plan. It is simply for us to keep the faith and to do the right thing and there is no way on Earth that you will convince me that the Bush/Obama/Romney wars are the right thing.

I feel great! My first step away from the DnR party. I'll never go back.

Dottie is doing the same thing to Christians as Satan did to Jesus.
She is tempting them to do a little evil to gain much power, and ease much suffering.
After Jesus fasted for 40 days, Satan challenged him to make bread out of stones. No where in the Bible does it say it is a sin to make stones into bread. The sin was subtle like voting for Romney. It is a sin out of desperation, but it is a sin none the less.

I for one won't vote for evil. I know others.

Save our constitutional rights
We're not gonna give up the fight.

We don't want no war no more
bring our boys home to our shores.
We don't want big government
Or the Bilderberg group that pays for it.

The Federal Id means a police state
and Mr. Jefferson's rolling in his grave
when our names turn to numbers like 666
according to the gospel on implantable chips.
