The Cost Of Doing Nothing Increased By 15% In 2011
On April 27, 2012, the Trustees have announced the cost of doing nothing in 2011. The price tag of 'fixing' Social Security increased by almost 15%, or 2.4 trillion dollars. DC isn't kicking a can down the road. It is pushing the snowball down the hill. The snowball gets bigger the can doesn't.
Washington's solutions aren't about fixing Social Security. They are about paying for it. We need to fix the systerm before we ask more of American workers and give less to retirees.
