Born in San Diego. 1945. Lived in Bakersfield (central California) 1950-1977, lived and worked in numerous parts of the country from coast to coast 1977-1984, returning to Bakersfield then. Began taking on more customers in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountain part of California in 2003, were I moved in 2007, mostly to escape what had grown into a large city being taken over by gangs and liberals. I have since retired here in "God's Country."
Worked as firefighter, petroleum engineer and sign company owner.
Civic groups have included Kiwanis, Lions, Moose.
Boy Scouts of America 1953-1982 including Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts (Eagle with two silver palms), Explorer, Scout master, merit badge councilor,district commissioner (California and Illinois.)
Hobbies: Backpacking, skiing and photography (I live in the perfect place now.)
Active member of First United Methodist Church of Bishop, Studied and experienced numerous religions and denominations prior to becoming a Methodist in 1965. Continue to study other religions to better understand the beliefs and practices of other people.
Very Involved in our church 's outreach to help and council those battling alcohol and drug addiction and help the local court efforts jn this regard as well.
Most influenced in my younger years by my two grandfathers, who taught me by example about integrity and responsibility.
