He has absolutely no experience. Even though he may be a shrewd businessman, his debate performance has shown himself to be consistently very poor on how the legislative branch works. Don't let his slick commercials fool you. When he is off his script, he crashes in flames. We don't have time for someone on the lowest end of the learning curve.
Oh, one more thing...the reason he has all the commercials is because he is funding his own campaign spending about $1 million a quarter of his own money. Yes, he did very well as a businessman.

Akin is anything BUT party line. I'd like to know what vote you say he made against the Constitution and I bet he would like to know it also. Brunner does not even understand the legislative process. I have watched every one of the debates across the state. Brunner is totally scripted. He has the best volunteers money can buy. His campaign is basically self-funded. That's why you see all his commercials and ads early on. Also, Brunner will not win against McCaskill. She is way too slick for his inexperience. We don't have time for Senatorial learning curves but need someone who can start repealing on day one. Talk to Mr. Akin. He is personal, up-front and honest. He loves his country and the Constitution. Find out for yourself, don't just listen to someone else's party line or anti-party line opinion. I want to see where he has voted against the constitution. If it is true, I will ask him about it. You can come with me to ask him about it. Find out the truth for yourself. (Sorry, you have hit a nerve with me.) Akin has put everything on the line for this election. He is running a totally grass-roots campaign. He does not have the backing of the moderates who control the MO Rep. party. He is too conservative for them. I am asking you to get the facts and please reconsider.

Please ask him for me then why he voted for the NDAA as it was written. He is not my rep so Blaine and Blunt got my letters.

Your response to my post have made me look a little harder. I will continue to look at Akin but I was extrememly disappointed by that vote. I am very gun shy of politicians who claim Conservative. Blaine started out very well and then it looks like he is slipping to the middle.

I will absolutely look throughout Mr. Akin's voting career and form my opinion on consistency. I do not read a third party's position (like NRA, prolife, Christian Coalition, CWF, etc) on a candidate. I go to the records or when I get a chance to meet and or ask questions personally.
