Out Of Many ..... One!

February 14, 2013

You ever thought about that phrase? I have and what comes to my heart is:

God! He is one. The Father is one with the son and the son with the Father and the Holy Spirit with them also.

Shema O' yisrael Adonai elohenu, Adonai echod.

Hear O' Israel, the Lord, The Lord is one!

Jesus said, " Oh Father that they be as one as we are one.

A three braided cord is hard to break.
Jesus said, " A house divided against itself cannot stand."

I think ( Honest) Abe ( btw Abe was not known as a liar) said, " United we stand divided we fall."

You can see where Abe got that from. His bible.

The hearts of the men who wrote the Constitution, were united in one common goal, yet were individuals.

Not all the time they saw eye to eye, but they put there individuality aside when it came to the interest of the people.

I remember when an elected official was called the "servant of the people." I am still perplexed how they have forgotten who they work for.

Right now, I cannot in my heart call anyone in office 'statesmen'.

POLY TICKS... that describes what has attached itself to the backs of the American people and is sucking the life's blood right out of them.

The blind, selfish, immoral blind are in the voting polls now.

When did blindness become our way of life and God, the light of the world, not?

I don't want America to reap what it sowed.
My prayer is that God be put back on the throne in our hearts. Then we well see again.

I trust God!

Very good Shaka. The name E PLURIBUS UNUM was chosen for this group with great care, just as our Original Patriots chose it for our nation's motto. Diversity is a great asset, but division is a great destroyer. The Founders knew we must be united on the core principles of God and Country, or we would never have the Freedom of individual Liberty.

It is also no accident that our money, which represents the fruit of our labors says; "IN GOD WE TRUST!"

What does the light have in common with the darkness? This is how I feel about the politicians making nice with each other. I am not friends with communists. How can they be rubbing elbows with them. Make your points on the floor of the congress but don't laugh and pretend that they are legitimate. What did Jesus do? He ate with the tax collectors, but what do you think they talked about? If God was in the room what the hell do you think the conversation would be?

Thanks so much for this post. I also fear that we may reap what we have sown, but I hold out hope in the grace and mercy of our LORD. Perhaps another "Great Awakening" revival sent from God is what we need. However, I am reminded that the First Great Awakening took place in the 2 decades preceding the Revolutionary War, and the Second Great Awakening revival burned through our land shortly before the Civil War.

We must have revival in our churches and the only way we will get that is if our pulpits become filled with uncompromising pastors and not limp wristed whiners parroting the tennants of new age morality and compromising on true biblical instruction in proper behavior.

When did it become Politically Correct for pastors to mouths shut about the sin and corruption in this world if it offends the politicians in power? They should be speaking out - no, shouting out - against sin and corruption, even at the voting booth! Is freedom of speech now denied for church members, yet carefully protected for radicals, perverts, criminals and politicians? Sorry for repeating myself - the last four are all the same!

Rick, you are exactly right. I think a strong healty dose of Righteous Indignation and table bashing for the corrupt money changers is greatly needed and long overdue for many arrogant scammers.

The politicians use the threat of taxing the churches to control many of them. Like Caesar. they have already taxed the members and now they want to tax God!

Look, don't take this as and emotional stunt. It's not, but I think I just had a moment here. I am at my key board crying. But not in sadness, in joy.

This THIS is what we should be doing. CAN WE CHANGE ANYTHING? NOOOO, we need help. POWERFUL HELP, We need WISDOM!
