His statement, if you chose to read it, is a conservative’s dream.”

They can misdirect their ire at Roberts or use what he handed them on a silver platter to roll back big government and unwind the multitude of mistakes it has brought us during the last 80 years. If conservatives choose the former, they will lose and lose big – that will invigorate the liberals and re-validate the claim that if conservatives take control in 2012 we will get an “activist” Supreme Court stacked with conservatives that will quickly attack what the liberals love most. If conservatives take the latter approach they will win big in 2012 and be in an even better position to roll back big and intrusive government than they had at the peak of Reagan’s power."
Roberts is encouraging the American people to vote smarter in the future.
