Music for the Heart!

Ongoing Praise and Worship Revival!

January 13, 2013

Recently God has put it on my heart that revival is in the air. Not just any revival, but the latter rain revival! He has also spoken to me and to others that this revival will be a worship revival! Without a doubt, I am assured through much prayer and scripture that we should have an ongoing, 24/7 virtual praise and revival meeting. All that is required is a heart to worship the Lord.

On the group, “Music for the Heart” we will post our favorite worship songs and YouTube videos as well as patriotic songs. It would be great to post scripture as well as your prayers. Testimonies are welcomed and it is vital to share our worship experiences with our brethren. We need to share how revival is impacting us and see if we are experiencing similar things, which is common in revival.

I am posting this as an event and sending out invites to all of my connections. Let’s pray that many will join us in this wonderful experience in obedience to God’s call. Freedom Connector requires a beginning and end date, but we can continue as long as we feel God wants us to. We will start today, Sunday, January 13, 2013 and praise as often as we can. There will be no assigned structure of times, just post away, pray for revival and let the Holy Spirit flow. Let’s see what God will do with this wonderful endeavor.

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:10-20 NKJV).

This is the link where we will post the songs. I am starting with, “Sing Hallelu” from the Odes Project because God put that song on my heart. The historical connection is significant in that the first century church sang these lyrics and probably a similar, beautiful melody.

“But I trust in Your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me” (Psalm 13:5-6 NIV 1984).

May God be blessed by our worship and praises to Him. May He richly bless us and may God bless America!!!

Yeshua Friend,

I love Jesus, Name Above all Names! Definitely inspirational!

Dear Sister: Laurie, my point is that our worship music should be either directed to Yah, or be theologically instructive. For while worship music is an enjoyable and soothing experience to our souls; it is really not meant for us, but for Yah, and those He would have to be lead to Him through it. We tend to see it as being for our own pleasure alone; but if that is all our worship is, then we are but worshiping or entertaining ourselves. Shalom!

Amen, Yeshua Friend! I do believe that worship with God is a two way street however. While He receives all glory, praise and honor that only He alone deserves, we can receive His love in the process. He wants to give us that love, peace and joy that we experience while worshipping. It's all for Him, but He desires a relationship with us through worship!

Yeshua Friend,

That is funny because tonight's prayer and discussion is on worship! We're on the same page! Hope you can make it!

I thought that maybe this lady was having a wild crush on me, until the very last tidbit of her song, where she finally mentions the word Lord. {¦꞉3o Shalom!

Amen, Lady Liberty! I woke up with that scripture in my heart today, thanking God for another day and counting my blessings! It is indeed good to be alive, especially filled with the promise of redemption by grace through faith in Jesus Christ!

Yeshua Friend, that is one of my favorites. His love overwhelms us when we worship Him in Spirit and in truth. Now, we will pray for a nice Christian woman for you!

Here is another beautiful song performed by Fernando Ortega. This song is very special to me, in that I used to sing it with my dear friend, Meredith. We would sing a two part harmony throughout. Praise Jesus!

"Now, we will pray for a nice Christian woman for you!" Sister: Laurie, Yah doesn't keep women around that long; He only throws back us grumpy old codgers that might spoil Heaven, and have everybody else wanting to come back here. {:3)› Shabbat shalom!
