Music for the Heart!

Group Discussions

January 13, 2013

Recently God has put it on my heart that revival is in the air. Not just any revival, but the latter rain revival! He has also spoken to me and to others that this revival will be a worship revival! Without a doubt, I am assured through much prayer and scripture that we should have an ongoing, 24/7 virtual praise and revival meeting. All that is required is a heart to worship the Lord.

On the group, “Music for the Heart” we will post our favorite worship songs and YouTube videos as well as patriotic songs. It would be great to post scripture as well as your prayers. Testimonies are welcomed and it is vital to share our worship experiences with our brethren. We need to share how revival is impacting us and see if we are experiencing similar things, which is common in revival.

I am posting this as an event and sending out invites to all of my connections. Let’s pray that many will join us in this wonderful experience in obedience to God’s call. Freedom Connector requires a beginning and end date, but we can continue as long as we feel God wants us to. We will start today, Sunday, January 13, 2013 and praise as often as we can. There will be no assigned structure of times, just post away, pray for revival and let the Holy Spirit flow. Let’s see what God will do with this wonderful endeavor.

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:10-20 NKJV).

This is the link where we will post the songs. I am starting with, “Sing Hallelu” from the Odes Project because God put that song on my heart. The historical connection is significant in that the first century church sang these lyrics and probably a similar, beautiful melody.

“But I trust in Your unfailing love;
 my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me” (Psalm 13:5-6 NIV 1984).

May God be blessed by our worship and praises to Him. May He richly bless us and may God bless America!!!

Barbara Ann,

Welcome to the group! Thank you for sharing that beautiful, heartfelt praise music! Yes, we give You praise, Lord!

It is funny that Gretzinger is my son's father's name...I wonder if they are somehow related?

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. (Colossians 3:16, 17 NKJV)

Psalm 91 Geneva Study Bible

1 He that dwelleth in the {a} secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
(a) He who makes God his defence and trust will perceive his protection to be a most sure safeguard.

2 {b} I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

(b) Being assured of this protection, he prays to the Lord.

Lisa, thank you for that beautiful music. "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil" (John 3:19 KJV).

Lately I have had visions of dancing light when I go to sleep at night. I believe that it is thousands of angels! This is confirmation! Pour it out, Lord, pour it out! We are the light of the world!

A Reason to Rejoice
In trouble and gladness we can
alway hear Your voice, if we
listen in silence and find a reason to rejoice.

The voice of the Lord is powerful;
the voice of the Lord is majesic. Amen
Psalm 29:4

Thank you, Dianne!

Lisa, thanks for posting! I will listen a little later.

Yeshua Friend, you are correct in what you are saying but I think all music that edifies the Lord is good. I will listen to your songs as well, but I am a little busy right now. I will let you know what I think.

The important thing is that we keep offering up praise to Jesus!!!
