November 25th past gone; the date of human right but some places was not right for the human. It still had not protected women well. And some places still had discrimination. We need to fight for the human rights immediately and also protect women. Everyone must equality and freedom likely freedom speech. For the most of the Asian people never had freedom speech in the workplace or the public, special is a Vietnamese. Please put hand together, we fight for freedom for ever.

I could definitely get Behind a presidential ticket with West on it. He would not hold back during debates or when dealing with the Democrat controlled media. I think we know that playing the nice guy in today's political climate is a losing strategy. I just can't believe how so many Republicans play nice and act like everything is business as usual while the republic slips away.

If West loses his seat, it might be a blessing in disguise. He's too good to waste in the House; he's a born leader. He needs to find a nice, safe red state ( Georgia, Tenn) and go for governor or Senate, kick back for a term, then jump into the ring for prez. He's a virtual shoo-in with this electorate. They've shown they're not interested in policy wonks or business types; it's all about personality and celebrity. Fine, if they want personality, West has it by the truckload. I'd put his charisma up against any Dem you can think of.

A Reader's Digest Condensed Summary of the 1982 New Jersey Consent Decree

In the aftermath of the 2012 Election there has been some concern bubbling up around the web about a 1982 consent decree entered into by the Republican National Committee and the Democratic National Committee, effectively barring the RNC from "engag[ing] and assist(ing) in voter fraud prevention unless the RNC obtains the court's approval in advance." No, you are not dreaming.

After the initial agreement, the RNC tried multiple attempts to get out of the deal, amid new evidence of fraudulent voting activities and new law. Each time, however, the federal courts denied the request and ceded little room for adjusting the agreement. Though this agreement only applies to the national parties, it effectively squashes any attempt at a coordinated effort for election integrity. Today the decree roughly states that:

The RNC may only be sued by the DNC for enforcement issues;
Any activity to fight voter fraud must be submitted to the courts for a 10-day preclearance process (think Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act);
Voter fraud prevention or "Ballot Security" is defined as "any program aimed at combating voter fraud by preventing potential voters from registering to vote or casting a ballot;"
Poll watching is defined as "stationing individuals at polling stations to observe the voting process and report irregularities unrelated to voter fraud to duly-appointed state officials" (Emphasis ours);
The Decree expires December 1, 2017 - with detailed caveats.

There are two glaring issues here. First, the decree effectively robs poll watchers (and the ballot stakeholders that put them there) of their most important function: spotting and neutralizing attempted voter fraud. Indeed, poll watchers will mostly make note of procedural errors that could have negative impacts on voters. However, poll watchers also improve overall faith in the system when electors know that ALL of the rules are being enforced. Second, the definition of "Ballot Security" sets an unreasonably high, yet undefined bar for what are acceptable anti-voter fraud operations. If the RNC wanted to execute a plan that prevented non-citizens from registering and voting, the courts would basically tell them to not press their luck. The RNC is effectively jammed: choosing between developing a system that the federal court and the DNC agree would be flawless or spending time and energy on developing issue ideas or get out the vote efforts. Time and money being finite, the RNC picks GOTV over "Ballot Security."

This whole issue is despicable. The definition and practice of "Ballot Security" should never be the plaything of political parties. Fueled by partisan emotion, one side will always feel cheated after an election with this agreement in effect. However, in this Decree comes opportunity. The RNC, DNC and federal courts have basically created a void where true, disinterested election integrity and ballot security can be created. The answer is in YOU. Should citizens fight to have the Decree overturned? No - such action only legitimizes the agreement. Federal law, the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 in particular, empowers you to fight for clean registrations and fair elections in your own communities.

Take this whole episode for what it is: an example of how the established political parties and governing interests jockey to consolidate power. Follow the facts and history - not the hype - and then do something about it.

Satire Alert: Military Ballot Issues

After the election, the interwebs lit up in some areas regarding concerns that military ballots in great quantities were never delivered on time - enough to swing the Presidential Election. The report came from the Duffel Blog, the military equivalent of The Onion. The story either duped or entertained quite a few people in the aftermath, to the tune of 146,000+ shares on Facebook. I cant’ tell you how many emails I’ve received from readers frustrated with the GOP not being more vocal about obvious voter fraud in this past election. Well, as I discovered today, there is a reason behind it: The GOP is legally barred from it according to a court ruling from nearly thirty years ago.

A race-based consent decree negotiated by Democrats against the Republican National Committee a generation ago still has tied the RNC’s hands, and GOP officials could be cited for contempt – or worse – if they try to make sure American elections are clean.
Impossible?
No. Fact.
The case is the Democratic National Committee vs. the Republican National Committee, originally from 1982.
Democrats alleged Republicans were trying intimidate minority voters in New Jersey and brought the legal action. The RNC, inexplicably, decided to agree to a consent decree before a Democrat-appointed judge rather than fight the claims.
The judge, Dickinson Debevoise, appointed by Jimmy Carter, later retired but decided he would continue to control the case. The decision requires the RNC – but not the DNC – to “refrain from undertaking any ballot security activities in polling places or election districts where the racial or ethnic composition of such districts is a factor in the decision to conduct, or the actual conduct of, such activities there and where a purpose or significant effect of such activities is to deter qualified voters from voting; and the conduct of such activities disproportionately in or directed toward districts that have a substantial proportion of racial or ethnic populations shall be considered relevant evidence of the existence of such a factor and purpose.”
The rest of the agreement essentially requires the RNC to follow applicable state and federal election laws.
I know, silly right? What in the world were the Republicans thinking of when they agreed to this?
They have challenged the ruling by a three judge panel in the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The judges were Joseph Greenaway Jr., appointed by Bill Clinton, Delores Sloviter, appointed by Jimmy Carter and Walter Stapleton, appointed by Ronald Reagan.
The case is now pending before the United States Supreme Court.
Attorney James Bopp of the James Madison Center said, “It is way too restrictive. It prevents the RNC from working with state parties in conducting voter integrity activities. It has been used by the DNC to harass the leadership of the RNC with false allegations of violations of the consent decree.”
Ya think? It is a bit of an unfair advantage when one side can basically manipulate the vote and the other side has legislative handcuffs on, preventing them from even bringing the subject up.
Attorney Cleta Mitchell of the Washington firm of Foley & Lardner said, “The RNC has been completely prohibited from doing anything in ballot security since 1982. The Democrats repeatedly over the years have gotten the RNC officers into court on the weekend before the election.
“What it means is that for 30 years there has been no way to institutionalize, to help train state parties, to work with candidates [on vote fraud prevention issues],” she said.
This is why the Republican have been so adament about pushing for Voter ID laws. This way there is a proper channel for verifying the legitimacy of the voter.
I have previously written about electronic voting machines. While the convenience factor sounds nice, it is the ability for abuse they present that concerns me. Honestly, the states should return to paper ballots where there is a physical, tangible, recorded record of each and every vote.
But to the case at hand, it seems that Republicans have attempted to change the ruling since 2009, but have failed. The question I have to ask is, “Why have we not heard from the Republican party in regards to this matter?”

The legal battle surrounding the results of Rep. Allen West´s (R-Fla.) reelection bid is likely not over yet, as both he and Democrat Patrick Murphy have indicated a willingness to move forward with litigation, regardless of the official results. A judge has dismissed West´s case calling for a full recount of ballots from all eight days of early voting in St. Lucie County, a major part of Florida´s 18th District, eliminating his final legal option before the county´s vote canvassing board meets this afternoon to decide whether to engage in a full recount.
