Most people have no idea what being libertarian means. All being a libertarian means is that it is morally wrong to initiate coercion and force against another human being.

Cathrine,
The law of the land, is what the Founders wanted it to be. When the LP talks about entangling alliances that is because that is what the Founding Father talked about.

Oooo, Rino, I'm scared! NOT!

I knew you weren't Christian, and therefore full of hate for religious freedom and freedom of speech. That is NOT in accordance with the U.S. Constitution, my friend.

Why do you feel the need to tell me that you "are not scared" ? I find that odd.

Let me get this straight. You say, "According to the Libertarian Party's platform, libertarians believe no one has the right to dictate to them what is right or wrong.

Boehner is another Rino in long line of rinos this is the type of GOP candidates we have to rid the party of. He will cave in to everything the Progressive want with the fiscal cliff issues and then pretend he done so much for the Consertative cause.

Mike, put down your kool-aid and take the time and learn history! You do not even have to read it. This video shows you history that you do not know, and or to scared to acknowledge. Which is it?

I like the video, although it leaves out the VP (who also plays a role in the Senate as tie breaker). I also do not think that the Federal government is directly, legally, morally, individually responsible for EVERY problem America faces.

All who are listed are responsible. Who else would it be? The bureaucrats who they appoint? It is accurate and true.

This is a video I use to help folks see the truth. It is entertaining, and educational.

Nice video on government, hahahaha. Of course it is from an anarchical point of view. I'm more of a John Locke, Thomas Jefferson fan. Not a fan of Larken Rose and his ilk. Sorry. But I do like hearing the argument. A peaceful stateless society would be preferred, if it were at all possible.

YES! In cutting the size and scope of government. Enforcing the laws and making everyone equal in the eyes of the law. Push all the marriage, drugs, education, and welfare to the state/local level. But do not follow the libertarian viewpoints on foreign policy.

Follow the Golden Rule. Or was Jesus also wrong?

1 year 9 months ago

Having a strong home defense will make us strong. Fighting wars over what might happen is building an empire. Even our founders warned us of unending wars. That it would lead to loss of liberty here. Look to the patriot act and indefinite detention in the NDAA law.

Not saying that we should be empire building. The last time I checked it was radical islamists who were at war with us. Jesus is never wrong. If all the world was like Jesus then we wouldn't need governments nor would we have wars.

No to answer the question. Reason is that the GOP and Libertarians already have some things in common and those that we don't now have in common, we don't need to adopt. Sensible Libertarian ideas are great, the GOP doesn't need to even approach the liberal side of Libertarians.

Randy being called a Paulbot is a badge of honor. It means little more than that people who have ideas can do nothing but throw rocks. They can't refute the truth all they have in their bag of tricks is personal attacks.

The GOP needs to be more open to ideas period. They have none. Didn't the recent election demonstrate that. They picked the most Democratic looking politician in the party and ran him for president. He got less votes than McSnooze did in '08. Wow, how'd that happen?

Rino -- apparently so. Alas, my poor country. Not much hope for the future when we are "divided by a common language".

We need to find common ground but that means BOTH sides need to give a little, no one faction should push other factions out of the party. That means when the GOP gets a nominee that we need Libertarians to support that candidate if they want to be heard.

1 year 9 months ago

This will never happen as long as the GOP is addicted to neocon progressives. FAIL
