The ethanol program is considerably responsible for the price of corn going crazy. 30% or more of all corn crops go into this black hole. Corn products are in hundreds of food items and other products where the prices are being driven up.

The crops are subsidised by the government to the farmers to grow it, the ethanol production is subsidised by the government and we get taxed on every gallon of gas we buy by the government and the crap in our fuel cuts gas milage.

So, in essence, we tax ourselves to produce the corn, the ethanol and then get the fuel tax on top of that. Tired of it yet?
