Former Congressman Mel Reynolds, who resigned in disgrace from the Illinois 2nd Congressional District after being convicted of having sex with an underage campaign worker, wants his old seat back.

Anybody, no matter how unqualified, can get elected in Illinois, the land of corruption and cronyism. Just look what they gave America - Obama. Enough said.

So let me get this straight....he has sex with an underage campaign volunteer...is re-elected after charges are filed....he claimed the charges were racially motivated...convicted of 12 counts of sexual assault, obstruction of justice and solicitation of child pornography.

A person who has a felony can't even vote. How can he be apart in the senate. Oh thats right the American laws don't apply to this gov.

Exactly. Why even hold an election - we know the fix is in and he'll be in. Save the taxpayers some money on what JJJ wasted.

Guess now I'm just waiting for Comrade Maxine Waters to give Reynolds her full support.
