Not correct?
Oral contraceptives have been available for over 50 years. Surely there is some way that they can be made available more easily and inexpensively than they currently are.
Oral contraceptives have been available for over 50 years. Surely there is some way that they can be made available more easily and inexpensively than they currently are. I urge caution about making them available without some sort of counseling from and monitoring by a health care provider though, since many women have serious side effects from some of them, such as blood clots. One possible solution would be for states to make it easier for pharmacies to employ nurse practitioners who could prescribe them at low/no cost, just as pharmacists are now permitted to adminster vaccinations.
