Americans´ rights under the Second Amendment are NOT affected by advances in modern gun technology any more than rights under the First Amendment are affected by advances in communications technology.

One of the better definitions of a liberal I have heard is that a liberal is someone who can find the right to an abortion in the Bill Of Rights, but cant find the right to own a gun.

It is obvious the Democrats don´t give a whit what the Constitution says. They have shredded it completely already. Some of the Republicans haven´t been much better

The "living, breathing" constitution crowd finds ways to invent alleged "rights" that were not known to exist at the time the Constitution was written, then somehow ignores rights explicitly called out in the document.
