Let's see, compact fluorescent lamps are feared as a fire hazard that could burn down your home, may damage skin, contain mercury so that if one is broken, a hazmat team is recommended to do cleanup, and cost much more than incandescents.

I'm not too concerned about a broken light and I will take steps to protect myself. However, all the broken bulbs will be discarded into landfills across the nation and contaminating our drinking water. We will be creating more superfund landfills sites.

Oh yah, don't forget about the solar cells with the heavy metals and other hazardous materials also going into our landfills. Yep, Progressives are smart. Too bad they can't think.
