Univ. of California spends $4.3 million on online courses; one person took a class

The University of California is spending millions to market an ambitious array of online classes created to "knock people's socks off" and attract tuition from students around the world. But since classes began a year ago, enrollment outside of UC is not what you'd call robust. One person took a class.

Maybe people are opting for the FREE online courses that Hillsdale offers. They have two excellent series about the constitution and history.

I understand that California Universities charge the same tuition for their online courses as they do for their out-of-state students.
