I believe that the people should determine the term limits. If Congress isn't doing their job it's our job to vote them out.

If we can't figure out that the damn people in Congress created this mess, we don't deserve this country. Kick them ALL out, over and over again. That is why they only have a two or six year term. Life time politicians are caused by a lazy electorate.

Yes the term limits will come naturally and self imposed when the pay rates are reduced and the percs and benifits are eliminated for the greater good of better government.

This can only happen by the voting public demanding it be corrected and returned back to a true servant / statesman position. The voting public have to constantly hold their feet to the fire on this issue, in order to bring back some sanity back to serving a elected office.

I don' t Know if there ever can be a nantional referendum, that is a process reserved to the states only that I know of but I may be wrong I just do not know enough about to say for sure.

Yes, term limits...and they should be paid the average wage for an American citizen with benefits ending when their service is over and a 401K contribution in stead of retirement for live....let's end their entitlements that they never paid for....

Elections are term limits. Please dont take away my right to vote for who I wish because someone else cant figure out how to wage a campaign. term limits are for cowards who dont want to work the process.

I have always said senators and congressmen have term limits, just vote them out of office.
If you follow the money trail donated to the campaigns of the congressmen and the senators to keep them in office is unbelievable.

Can we add an age limit as well. I have always been uncomfortable with someone over the age of 70 making decisions for our country. Just remember that they don't allow you to drive after a certain age.

Age can always be a factor. But the enemy never knows any age. Just destruction. So a 70 year old or a 32 year old can stll call for the same destruction on our enemies using current and past tech.

Yes with an added portion, in office for six years, they can not run for any office for four years, then they can run for six more years, etc. This way we can get good ones back if we want them back. More than term limits I support, no funding from outside of your district, period!

I agree and kind of disagree with your statement. I can agree on 6-year terms and the they are out. If they are good then they would have to start ALL over te process to get elected back in. That would mean they would have to what for 6 off seaon elections to get back in if elected.
