Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs: A New Cancer Risk in Your Home | The Alliance for Natural Health USA

Via anh-usa.org » Submitted On Wed, 02/20/2013 - 8:04am by Maria Perkins

February 19, 2013 Have the government and General Electric lied to us? Action Alert! The Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA) mandates the phase-out of incandescent light bulbs, and favors energy-efficient compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. Sounds good-until you realize that CFL bulbs contain mercury, and mercury poses a significant cancer risk.

Does anybody know what the FCC approval means?

I use these new bulbs, but never touch them barehanded! Don't like them at all! This is just another example of our government doing things it has no right to do! Both sides are to blame and the people will have to stop them!

We DO NOT USE them. There are places to buy other bulbs. Our home is stocked with them. If we can no longer find the Old Style Bulbs...then looks like candles and gas lighting is the option. These Compact bulbs are poison, so why even buy them?

The environmental left is obsessed with man-made products polluting our environment. How will they reconcile their dream of no incandescent bulbs with poisoning the water/land. This is a reality destroys the dream moment. Sorry lefties.
