100 Million Patriots Standing

Recently, I've been made aware that many of FC have changed their names and/or account settings in an effort to protect their privacy and identity. I hope I can help with some clarity on this matter.
I've been using the internet since DOS (early 80's) as an active part of my career since the World Wide Web originated for the use of libraries and our Military as a private source of sharing information. DOS was a code language used to create and transfer data information. Until Bill Gates marketed an Operating System easy enough for anyone to use, the WWW turned into what is called the Internet today.

Every computer has it's own id, called an "IP address" that identifies your computer.

It used to be required to issue a subpoena before any government agency could access data from any web address, but now they can have access to the data info through whatever Internet Service Provider (ISP) without having any probable cause or warrant.

In doing so, agencies target web sites, then filter through data that includes our IP Address identity which pinpoints your name and address listed on your Internet Provider Service.
So no matter where you are on the internet, there is NO possible way, what you say or who you are, is privately protected, changing your name trying to hide your identity or your account settings has NO EFFECT at all, except causing you and others some inconveniences and confusion.
The "privacy" issue no matter what website/search engine you use, is nothing but a joke. At best, privacy policies really only matter to protect your email accounts from being share or sold.
So what I explained here, I'm sure is nothing compared to what can be easily done in today's technology, such as downloading and analyzing data on a daily basis.
Hope this helps.

Sounds realistic, Deb. For some this probably clears the air so as to say.

What's this internet of which you speak?

Deb might we say one needs to think before the press the reply button. Of course, what stays forever in cyperspace and what mysteriously disappears is a mystery to me. Also the truth might be out there but there is a whole lot of garbage out there also so you need to verify what you find on the internet.

One thing that I do worry about is that my medical providers have gone internet crazy. To the point that they wanted all my communications with my Dr. to be over the internet. I would set up a password and then I would have access to all my medical records. I declined I said that if I wanted to view my xrays and tests I believe I should have a Dr. there to explain them to me. I also did not want them available on my computer.

"Big Brother" has been watching us for a very long time.... The only thing you can do is carefully use your words to keep from drawing attention to yourself... Unless you want to make it onto one of the "Lists" in DC... The Constitutional Right-Freedom of Speech and our Right to Privacy doesn't mean shit anymore.. Day by day, they take a piece of your Freedoms/Rights away and many are obtuse to it. Perfect example, what made the Executive Order "List" yesterday.. #16.

Barbara, I just watched a documentary that showed World Wide Web Internet data is downloaded to storage bins equivlent to downloading data in the Library of Congress, every 10 minutes. That's where it goes, storage bins and selling date to analyze and see trends. BIG MONEY MAKING VENTURES. Verifying information is essential to cover your own self, let alone share as fact with others.

Boot, Talk to Al-jazeera Gore, he invented the internet.

Char- You are so right, Use common sense, which honestly, I appreciate more than some who just go off handcocked with a tempered flair saying nothing really valuable to others.
My understanding is there is a set of protocols designed with different categories that makes up profiles. When data is collected it falls within these categories that are applied to a profile that combines into a profile of you, your habits, interests, behavior, etc.

You are right about the Affordable Care Act being really sinister. It is the excuse my medical providers have used to put all those records on the internet. There is that "Wellness Visit" where the Dr. does not discuss any of your real medical issues but goes over that "Final Arrangements" docuement formerly known as Living Will. My medical providers are are really pushing me to sign the form document Their docuement essentially says how do you want us to kill you check box.

After the privacy issues on FC, I changed my name just so my actual name wouldn't be front and center for joe-public. Knew it wouldn't make no never-mind for Big Brother.

I have no doubt I'm on a list, and if I'm on that list for takin' a stand for my God, my Country, my Constitution, my Family; I wouldn't have it any other way.

Casey, Welcome to the "DC List!" You are among fellow Patriots!

Although the judge misspelled in writing Constitutionalist he honored me as such.
Do you think I should ask him what my position is on his list?

Go for it Michael

Barbara- No pun intended stick to your guns, don't back down. Wonder how many others are experiencing the same. I bet a lot.

I would like to note that even proxy servers and privacy networks such as Tor only offer marginally greater security. The government has busted users of Tor in the past (reference the "Silk Road" arrests a while back), and a proxy server is only as secure as the data center it sits in.

Have been able to see my medical tests (blood tests, etc.) for years. I did that mainly so I could call my brother (doctor) and go through everything with me. I had NO IDEA it could be all over the internet, not just at Duke. Well, whistle me dixie! Anyway, I may change my name back to my real name. Maybe. Maybe not.

Deb, we always enjoy your intelligent and helpful posts! Glad you are still Deb.

Barbara, I will be starting soon to clean up the corruption there, and I have help I'm told.

Thanks for the compliment Conservative Nana. But I don't know the you I used to know by your previous name. I urge you to change back to your previous name, since your effort to protect your privacy is only hiding your identity from us. LOL!

My FaceBook was just hacked about 10 minutes ago. Coincidence?? What say you. The really funny thing is that I only have about 10 friends on FaceBook, most are family. Most of my facebook activity is Food and Felines so that is pretty bland However this summer my email was hacked. Again Coincidence ??? What say you?

It's sad NO one has a private life anymore. I also know what the truth is when it comes to the "Obama Care". It's ashame that one has to lie to play tricks on everyone to get them to do what they want. This insurance is about Revelations 13:13-17. Read it. You'll know what I mean. Blessings to all.
